The earliest archaeological artifacts in Iran had been discovered in the Kashafrud and Ganj Par websites that are thought thus far again to 10,000 years in the past within the Middle Paleolithic. Mousterian stone instruments made by Neanderthals have also been found. In 1949, a Neanderthal radius was found by Carleton S. Coon in Bisitun Cave. Evidence for Upper Paleolithic and Epipaleolithic periods are known best places to meet singles over 40 mainly from the Zagros Mountains in the caves of Kermanshah and Khorramabad and some number of sites in the Alborz and Central Iran.
